WE COULD NOT DO IT WITHOUT YOU!

“Saving one animal will not change the world, but surely for that one animal, the world will change forever.”

Are you ready to help make the world a better place? You can do that at the Lehigh County Humane Society, where one person can make a huge impact on the lives of thousands of homeless animals every year.

Volunteering for the Lehigh County Humane Society can have so many benefits to the animals, and to you. The feeling of giving back is special, and we hope you choose to help our organization. We appreciate every one who steps into our facility, and we make friends for life. Thank you.

GOT LOVE TO SPARE? WE HAVE VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES!

Dog Walker

Provides much needed exercise to the dogs throughout the day. Provides one on one socialization for our shelter dogs.

* All dog walkers must be over 18 or 16 and accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.

FELINE FRIEND

Provides priceless socialization and love to our shelter cats. May assist with daily care of our shelter cat population. (Does whatever the cats tell them to do, because we know the cats run the show)

HUSBANDRY HELPERS

Assists shelter staff with laundry, dishes, basic cleaning, sorting donations and preparing enrichment treats for our shelter animals.

Throughout the year we have other volunteer opportunities that are not listed above. Please feel free to inquire about seasonal volunteer opportunities we may have.
